Our Story

Amina El Gamal

As a specialist in early childhood education and manager of preschools in Egypt with Net3allem, I’ve always believed in the power of early investment. Research shows that 90% of brain growth happens by age 5, which means these early years are crucial for shaping a child’s future. This belief became even more profound during my time studying and working at Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2022, where I gained a deeper understanding of how the brain develops.

At birth, the human brain has about 100 billion nerve cells, but the connections between them—essential for learning and development—are built through experiences in the first three years of life. The more we expose children to rich, engaging experiences, the stronger their neural networks become. I realized that these vital developmental moments don’t just happen—they need to be intentionally created.

When I discovered I was pregnant with my first child, this knowledge took on a deeply personal meaning. While I had spent years helping other parents and children thrive, I felt overwhelmed by the lack of practical, tailored guidance available for parents—especially first-timers—in our region. I wanted to give my child the best start in life by creating the right experiences to stimulate their brain and support their development during this critical window.

This realization led me to partner with my cousin, Tasneem, a parenting specialist, and together, we created Bond and Bloom. Our mission is to empower parents by providing expertly designed subscription kits and research-backed guidance, delivered at just the right time for their child’s developmental stage.

With Bond and Bloom, we aim to give parents the confidence that they are providing their little ones with the best tools to build a strong foundation for a bright future.

Thank you for inviting us to be part of your parenting journey. We’re honored to join you in nurturing the bond and sparking the bloom.

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding experiences—but it’s also one of the most challenging. When my firstborn was around eight months old, I realized that parenting was more than just instinct; it was an opportunity to intentionally shape my child’s growth. That realization led me to pursue certification as a parent coach with the Jai Institute of Parenting, where I deepened my understanding of brain science, child development, and the nervous system.

This knowledge completely transformed the way I approached parenting. It helped me build a more conscious, connected relationship with my children—one rooted in understanding, not just reacting. I saw firsthand how the right support, both for the child and the parent, could foster deeper bonds and create an environment where children truly thrive.

When Amina and I came together to create Bond and Bloom, we knew our mission was bigger than just child development. We wanted to empower parents with the tools and knowledge to nurture not only their child’s growth but also the invaluable bond between them. Because when a parent feels confident and supported, that connection strengthens—and the benefits for the child are truly magical.

With Bond and Bloom, we’re here to walk this journey with you, helping you build a strong foundation for your child while embracing the beauty of parenthood.
